Summer vacation is quickly coming to a end and I am amazed how quick time flies by. The kids in our area have the latest start date in the valley, August 16th so stores have been packed with everyone getting ready for back to school. Taylor has until August 30th but moves into her dorm on the 27th. This is the first year she is staying on campus, last year she was blessed with living with my parents. Needless to say it is EXPENSIVE to purchase the necessities of dorm life. She is so excited to get back into the swing of life and I am excited for our bank account to get a break.
Mike and I have been frantically getting ready for our vacation. We are heading out for 9 1/2 days with a group of 10 people on our motorcycles. The destination is Sturgis, South Dakota for a HUGE motorcycle rally. Mike and I however have no interest to attend the event. We will be leaving the others there for three days while we visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and many other sites. Then we'll meet back up with them for the ride home. The goal is to have a safe, relaxing ride and see as much as possible. We are taking the scenic route so we will be driving through some incredible scenery. I will make sure and post some of our experiences and pictures when we return. It should be an incredible trip.
