VERRADO MINI-TRIATHLON

Of course we just got out of the cold winter months that unfortunately are not great times of the year to be doing this sport. So on Sunday May 2nd we participated in our first Triathlon of 2010 and I can't tell you how great it felt to be back. The event was located in Buckeye, AZ in the Verrado community. We did the mini-tri which was 150 yard swim, 12 mile bike and 1 mile run. Mike placed 1st in his age group and I placed 3rd in mine. We have 8 Triathlon we would like to complete this year if health, funds and time all work together. We might even sneak another one in if we find a good one. Here is our tentitive schedule if anyone is interested in coming to a event. Keep in mind that they all start around 7am.

Saturday September 4th- Anthem, AZ
Sunday October 3rd - Gilbert, AZ
Oct 7-10 Havasupi Trip ( This is a hike, not a Triathlon but thought it was note worthy )
Sunday October 17th - Scottsdale, AZ
Thursday November 25th ( Thanksgiving )( Hunter's 22nd Birthday ) Litchfield, AZ
