Doggie Compost

Doggie DooleyOkay this is the deal. We are trying to go green as much as possible and while I was looking though a magazine on pet products I came across this doggie compost called Doggie Dooley.

We decided that the best place was in the garden area so that it could fertilize all of Mike's beautiful flowers and plants.
The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System works like a miniature septic tank, utilizing natural bacteria and enzyme cultures to reduce dog waste to a ground absorbed liquid. Simply shovel stools into the system, occasionally add water and the Digester Powder. Neat, clean, and convenient. An environmentally friendly way to dispose of pet waste! ( I got this off the website :) )

There you go, lift the green lid and dump the poop in it. Fill with water and you are done. Other than putting the digester powder in it every week. No smell or bugs!

Whoa! You guys are too much...
I was a little freaked out to see it sitting on your kitchen table! ;) Then relieved to see Mike setting it into the ground! So when did you guys get that all set up? Because your pictures say it was 5 years ago.
Hope it's working well. So - is it REALLY stink proof??
Good job on your quest for the green, you are inspiring, as always.
Have a great week!
