Earth Day 2010For Earth Day we decided that it was the perfect time to replace the dead tree in our back yard. I had a few little helpers that day who were more then happy to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Mike was measuring the box with his shovel. He didn't want to dig the whole bigger than it needed to be and also he was tired of digging our incredible hard ground.
Emma was our little inspector and decided that the hole was perfect.
The anticipation of getting the tree in the ground was killing all of us. The kids were also concerned that Mike didn't squash the worm he was just showing everyone. Gross!

What kind of tree was that? Matt & I were just looking at Evergreen Elms and it seems to look almost the same.
