MOAB, UTAH

We drove to beautiful Moab, Utah to meet up with of group
of Vehicross enthusiasts from all over the United States.
This group gets together every May and spend a week
rock crawling all over Moab. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was spectacular. We had
meet the three people from Arizona back in February. People with these vehicles
came from all over including Chicago and Montana.

We were under the impression that we would be
driving on trails with some dips and such. Turns out
the first trail we went on was called 'Steel Bender' for
a reason. Everyone there was very nice and would give
you the shirts off their back. We had a
a great time spending time with all of them.
Yes that is snow on the mountain in the middle of May.
What crazy weather we have had this year.
Unfortunately on day two I decided to stay back in Moab and
visit all the shops. Turns out I should of gone along for the day.
Mike broke the Vehicross. He blames me stating something
about he doesn't do stupid stuff when I'm around. WHATEVER!
He was towed back to the stoop by someone in the group and we
called his brother John first thing in the morning. He left his golf
game and family and headed to Moab with a flat bed trailer
to give us a lift home.
The most important thing to me was that everyone was safe with no injuries
to report. I found the local hospital on my morning run the first day we were
there just in case. Always have to be prepared with Mike. lol
Did I mention that every night was like a full service garage station
in the parking lot of the motel. They repaired everything that got broken
during the day ( except ours because Mike did a number on it )
and if there was time put new parts on that people brought with them.
It was hard to be too upset about anything. We still had a wonderful time
and got to see a beautiful place that we definitely want to visit again.
Can't wait to do it again next year. You can count on us bringing
spare parts next time. :)

Wow - what beautiful country you saw!! What a great trip, minus the injury to your vehicle. :( Hope it's not too bad of a fix.
Happy you are back home safely!
PS - John is awesome!
