MAKEOVER

I was cleaning the laundry room while the kids took their naps and the need, desire, obsession or whatever you want to call it to redecorate was born. It was one of those, one thing leads to another situations. I was vacuuming the top of the cabinets and noticed that the walls had a lot of dust on them. So I vacuumed the walls. Then I asked Mike to move the washer and dryer out so I could clean behind them. If the top of the cabinets were any indication of what was back there then it needed a good cleaning too. This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands. What was waiting for me was unbelievably gross and I can't even put into words what I was thinking. YUCK! Now I am investing a crazy amount of time on pinterest getting ideas for my new laundry room. I have begun the preparation and will blog about it as I go for all to enjoy and hopefully inspire.

I had already taken everything off the walls and
cabinets before I remembered to take the "before pictures".

There is nothing fancy about this room. We have the basic
white laminate cabinets.

As you can see there is plenty of room for improvement.
I am just hoping I didn't bite off more then I can chew.
