RAGNAR 2011
Ragnar 2011- Okay so many of you thought we were crazy to do this last year and here we are again. We had a blast and now that the soreness and pains are almost gone we are excited about doing it in 2012.
We were Van 1 again this year and are van consisted of Mike and I, Candace and her husband Jason who was our driver, Chuck and Liz who are my little girl Lily's parents and Jenny. She is a childhood friend of Candace and even though she only knew Candace and was in a van full of couples she join our team and we were honored to have her. What a great person she is and I look forward to getting to know her more in the future. Ragnar started in Wickenburg, AZ this year and it was a 197 mile run to
Tempe, AZ. Our team did it in 32 hours and 54 minutes. Mike ran three
legs totaling 19 miles and I ran three legs totalling 16.6 miles.

Our van's name was - What happens in the van, stays in the van!

So we saw these signs warning us to be cautious of runners a couple of weeks ago on our street. We found out "they" were running from Wickenburg to Tempe and we thought "What kind of crazy people would do that?!" Oh my goodness, you guys!
We think you are hilarious, admirable, darling and just a wee bit silly. ;) Glad you had a great time and hope this year was injury free! Wish we had known you were passing by, we would have been happy to have cheered you on!!
