Vacation

BEST VACATION EVER
Mike and I went on a 10 day motorcycle trip the beginning of August and had the greatest time. Mike was born and raised her in Phoenix and I came to Arizona when I was two so it felt like we were in another world on this trip.

The song by Sara Evans - I could not ask for more - played in my head the whole trip. Take a listen, it's beautiful.

Jackson Hole, WY. We plan on calling this home when Mike is able to retire. 6 to 11 years down the road. Mike fell in love with it two years ago when he visited and the minute I got there I was in love. It is perfect and we couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to call home. Jackson Hole here we come.

We visited Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse which were the highlight of the trip for me. I started a mental bucket list several years ago and these are on it. I could of stood there for hours and looked at this. It was mesmerizing.

This beautiful creature were among the many we saw on our trip. We took over 900 photos so I had to put only a few of my favorites. Yellowstone was absolutely beautiful and a bit on the chilly side. We did see snow on the ground in several places on our trip which is just so hard to comprehend considering it is August.

I love the movie "The Shining" and this is the Hotel Stanley in Estes Park, CO where it was filmed. It was just so much fun being there and looking around. Especially going to room 237 which is the haunted room in the movie.

This trip was so relaxing and fun. The weather was cool or cold most of the time and we had not issues with the motorcycle at all. I was comfortable and even able to catch a few winks from time to time.

I don't recall if this was in Durango, CO or Silverton, CO but both were amazing. Everything is so green in Colorado and there is water everywhere.

This is when we were leaving for the trip. Everything we needed for 10 days was neatly packed on the bike and ready to go.

Can't wait for next year to do it all again. Honestly, I could not ask for more :)
