My 40Th Birthday
I was not looking forward to turning 40 this year. Except for the fact that I am in a different age group for the Triathlons. I am no longer the oldest in the group, I'm the youngest. Yahoo! I awoke to four neatly wrapped presents waiting for me. Mike and Taylor sat me down at the table and I began to unwrap with anticipation. The first one was a brand new filter for our refrigerator water system. We had been in the red zone for a week and those suckers are expensive. Good choice. Next was two boxes of Red Hot candies. My favorite candy in the world. I once had a Red Hot ice cream pie when we were in Strawberry, AZ. Two thumbs up! Then I opened this beautiful cross necklace from Taylor. I just love it. Mike had purchased one for me a few years ago on Valentines day and I lost it. I always wanted another one but felt so guilty about spending the money on a new one. This one I am not taking off! The final gift was
this gorgeous ring from Michael. I love everything about it. So needless to say that my birthday was awesome! Especially since they went to Jared! ;)
